Elizabeth and Steve and families--We are sorry to hear of your mom's death. She fought bravely for many years and wasn't a complainer. We first got to know her when our son was in 4th grade at Amanda Arnold. Your mom began her career at Amanda Arnold in Nancy Bradley's split grade classroom where our son was assigned. She was good with the children and got them to do their work. I know she was a before/after childcare teacher for several years after that. How she had the energy for those children was impressive. She helped them get their homework before heading home. Even with trouble walking, she could keep control and yet be there for the children. More recently we have attended First Christian Church with her. Even as her health steadily declined, she kept the faith. She loved both of you and always wanted the best for you. She talked of you often. We wish you for many happy memories of her. May the Lord bless and protect you.

Sandy was such a warm and loving person. She started a puppet ministry at our United Methodist Church and all the children (young ones an older ones!) were delighted by her presentations. She will be missed. May God bless and comfort all her family with good memories.

I will truly miss Sandra's smile and gentle spirit! I met her through my sister as Sandra provided great friendship and comfort to her at Via Christi. My heart aches for you, her family, as it is so painful to lose a mother, and especially one so giving and caring. Keep her memory clear in your minds and may her thoughtful spirit flow through your hearts always! It is the legacy she bestows upon you. My deepest deepest sympathies to you.
